BRENT CHESANEK is an artist working among narrative, documentary and experimental film practices. He directs and produces his own films while working within multiple disciplines of film & broadcast post-production and design.
He studied cinema, English, and broadcast journalism at the University of Florida. He has screened his films at FIDMarseille, CPH:DOX, RIDM, Seattle IFF, DOXA, Big Sky Documentary FF, Singapore IFF, Denver IFF, NovosCinemas, IndieMemphis, Visions.MTL, UnionDocs, Rencontres Internationales Paris, Art Basel Miami Beach, and more.
He has designed titles and key-art for feature films appearing at most major festivals and distribution outlets. He has freelanced as an editor and senior motion designer with Showtime Networks, The Movie Channel, Hornet, Loyalkaspar, Nickelodeon, Lifetime, Giphy, and more.
Chesanek graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in journalism/telecom alongside a minor in English and film theory. He lives and works between New York and Florida.
