Freelancing with the team at Hornet, I was part of a small team putting together La Mer cosmetics holiday sale social spots. These silent “half-animations” blended static backgrounds with products moving in 2D and their main character rendered as a 3D element.

Under director Sam Mason, Jon Smith and I developed the 2D product motion language, characterized by charmingly half-alive products that jump and wiggle while emitting subtle particles, glares, and glows. 

We produced almost 50 spots across three sales date launches and multiple social media outlets.
